About the Job We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Physiotherapist, to cover maternity leave, as part of our established therapy team. The role is campus based supporting students aged 5-25 years old. Our children and young people have a wide range of abilities and needs which include epilepsy, autism and learning difficulties. Our large site focuses on our school and college, our students include both day students and residential students. Therapies provide input across the campus including residential services. The work is highly rewarding and provides development opportunities including aquatic therapy, rebound therapy and specialist equipment provision. Day-to-day, your role will include… Providing assessment and treatment for a varied cohort of students. Training staff to carry out Physiotherapy recommendations. Providing equipment to support and promote physical development. Plan and run individual and group intervention sessions to maintain and develop our young people’s physical skills. Taking a lead and a supportive role with various team development projects. Contributing to professional and family meetings as an advocate for our young people’s physical needs.
