Job responsibilities
As a Continence Nurse, you'll be part of our valued team in Bath and North East Somerset. Bases include St Martins Hospital, Keynsham Health Centre, Paulton Memorial Hospital, The Hollies, and Chew Medical Centre.

Qualifications and experience required include:
* Registered Nurse with specialist education in bladder and bowel dysfunction
* Experience in gynaecology, urology, and community care, with a strong background in continence assessment, treatment, and management, including absorbent products
* Qualified and experienced in teaching and mentoring healthcare professionals, patients, and carers
* Ongoing professional development and knowledge of national continence guidelines
* Proficiency in physical examinations, including rectal assessments, with strong infection prevention and control practices
* Ability to deliver complex information sensitively and confidently, using initiative in patient care and service development
* Leadership insight, caseload management experience, and a proactive, collaborative approach
* Strong planning and organisational skills, supporting colleagues and contributing to multidisciplinary teams
* Excellent communication skills for education, presentation, and supporting patient-centred care
