As our Technical Training Specialist, you will create an environment of technical excellence for Mercedes-Benz Trucks, FUSO Trucks products for the franchised dealer network, by managing the provision of accessible, relevant, and high-quality, customer-centric technical training to meet the franchise obligations. More about the role You will ensure the training syllabus and training content is complete, current and aligned with the operational Customer Service & Parts development plan. Work with the Training team and be overall responsible of ensuring training offering is relevant for the UK market and addressing all current topics. Establish the most effective new training content and innovative delivery methods to address any knowledge gaps throughout the Dealer Network. Manage effective relationships with Third Party training providers to gain optimum value from relationship, including biannual course observations, bi-weekly 1-1's to ensure that courses are being delivered in line with brand values, Corporate Identity, and to Mercedes-Benz Trucks and FUSO Trucks standards. Ensure course fill is maximised and scheduling priorities are based on the demands of the Network and our business. Ensure all associated costs of training activities are adequately covered by income generated, and that the appropriate financial transparency and reporting is in place. Determine the Technical training priorities and allocating resource in line with the business plans and budgets. Track course attendance to report on and monitor dealer compliance to agreed training standards. Responsible for both training delivery and promotion of available training to the Dealer Network and communicating with relevant parties to ensure engagement across the network and manage the CSP training schedule and ensure that all internally and externally offered courses are available in the training administration system.
