About Enabling Community Support
Enabling Community Support is a forward-thinking, fast-paced service supporting people aged 60+ to remain living independently in their own homes throughout the borough, through our "Pleased to meet you" service. Working in partnership with people we support, their families, carers and other agencies, to improve quality of life and create opportunities for individuals to grow and remain independent and well.
Role
Enabling Community Support Officer
Enabling community support officers enable older people to live in their own homes, as independent citizens. Remaining safe and well. As such, they are playing a key preventative role in enabling people away from longer term formal care and support needs and services. To provide discreet and person-led support meeting aspects of social and emotional care on a short-term basis whilst helping people to design their own strategies for remaining independent by building on their own strengths and support network. Supporting the development and implementation of individualised support programmes, in a highly person-centred way.
Hours: 22.2 hours per week
Salary: £15,841 - £16,884
