Job Title - Estimator
Team/Location - Pre Construction / Shirley
Working Pattern - Office Based, Monday to Friday. 8am to 6pm.
Reports To - COO/Director

Rockland Concrete supplies, installs and operates batching plants for our clients throughout the UK, Ireland and Europe. Rockland is part of the TSL Group and has companies in UK, Ireland and Portugal. Rockland is rapidly expanding its business across Europe and needs an Estimator to join the team.
Main Duties and Responsibilities for the Estimator:
Overview
* Assist the Estimating Team in the preparation of competent, professional and business strategy related tender submissions.
* Compile and maintain a database of construction outputs compared to tendered productivities
* Maintain compliance with business governance related to tender adjudications and sign off
* Carry our regular checks on progress achieved on site. Compare outputs assumed at tender stage with outputs achieved during construction
* Maintenance of tender log to inform the business about the status of current and submitted tenders
* Assist live projects on commercial and technical change management matters
* Take full responsibility of Invitation to Tenders, submissions and completions
Key Skills & Qualifications
* Basic understanding of the fundamentals of construction
* Be able to document and organise a complex stream of information and paperwork quickly and efficiently
* Excellent computer literary skills.
* Excellent attention to detail
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Microsoft Project
* Full, clean driving licence and happy to drive to meetings when required
