Grade: E
Salary: £33,366 per annum (rising to £36,124) + Trainer Allowance. More info on salaries and progression on our pay and policies page.
Hours: Full Time, 37 hours/week, including evenings and weekends
Location: Command Suite, Salisbury Fire Station, with flexible working options including home working and station attendance

Role Overview
As an Incident Command Technical Writer, you will:
1. Design multimedia training and assessment materials (virtual systems, scenarios, e-learning, presentations)
2. Assist in training and assessing Operational Competence processes
3. Manage IT hardware/software, troubleshoot, liaise with I&CT
4. Represent DWFRS at conferences and training events
Ideal Candidate
* Meets all criteria in the person specification
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Experience in training resource development and multimedia packages
* Willing to work towards Level 3 teaching and assessor qualifications
