Clinical Physiologist Specialist – Respiratory & Sleep (Band 6 / Annex 21)

This role is based at Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board, NHS Wales, where you will provide a full range of respiratory and sleep testing services across multiple sites.
Job Responsibilities
* Deliver respiratory and sleep diagnostic tests (spirometry, flow–volume loop, lung volumes, transfer factor, reversibility, overnight oximetry, polysomnography, hypoxic testing, capillary blood gas, allergy tests, etc.).
* Conduct testing on inpatients and outpatients as an independent practitioner.
* Ensure all clinical practices conform to national guidelines.
* Participate in multidisciplinary teams to provide diagnostic assessments and therapies for respiratory and sleep disorders.
* Travel to alternative sites as required to meet service demand.
* Engage in professional development (PDR) and training as required.
Qualifications & Skills
* Achieved grades.
* Clinical skills in respiratory physiology.
* Welsh language speaking/listening skills at Level 3 (CEFR B2) or higher (desirable).
* Eligibility for Annex 21: willingness to undertake a 24‑month training programme to gain postgraduate skills and competencies; salary paid at 70% of the top of Band 6 for the first 12 months and 75% for the next 12 months.

Salary
£40,559 to £48,841 per annum (Annex 21 details as outlined in the advert).
