The Role:
* Junior MES QA Engineer
* Onsite Role (Oxfordshire, UK). The role is fully onsite, so you should be commutable to the site location.

Role Brief:
The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and Quality Assurance activities related to an MES upgrade.
Core Responsibilities:
* Support the development of test plans with POMS Aquila MES.
* Conduct UAT activities.
* Take and execute test scripts.
* Perform quality assurance of test scripts.
* Implement, test, and deploy changes as per requirements.
* Provide support to other MES system users to ensure business continuity.
* Document all activities in line with cGMP requirements.
* Manage changes by raising change requests based on MES application modifications or upgrades from the business.
* Support, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues.
* Identify and pursue continuous improvement opportunities within MES.
Skills Brief:
* At least 1 year of experience in an Automation/Systems Engineering role within a pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing environment is essential.
* Experience working with test scripts for MES is required.
* Proven experience in software quality assurance, ideally with automation systems such as MES or SCADA.
* Knowledge of C# coding and SQL databases.
* Understanding of pharma/biotech/life sciences regulations such as cGMP and CFR 21 Part 11 is essential.
Person Brief:
Candidates must have a level 8-degree qualification with a minimum of 1 year of relevant industry experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will possess excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong attention to detail, including proofreading documents and translating customer requirements into clear end-user instructions, is required.
The candidate should have relevant technical skills and soft skills. Experience with MES in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing environment, along with C# coding and SQL database knowledge, is preferred.
The candidate should be based in or near Oxfordshire, UK, and able to travel to the site daily, as the role is fully onsite.
