Waste Management Supervisor - Leicester
Rate: £16.08 per hour (umbrella) | Schedule: 1 in 3 weekends
We are looking for a Waste Management Supervisor to oversee waste transfer station and haulage operations. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a team efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise HGV drivers and waste operatives, ensuring compliance with legislation and health & safety.
Plan rotas, schedules, and logistics for smooth site operations.
Maintain accurate records and manage performance through staff reviews.
Provide training, inductions, and toolbox talks to team members.
Coordinate with contractors, fleet teams, and site stakeholders.
Skills & Experience:
Administration (rotas, schedules, filing, emailing).
Microsoft Word & Excel (beginner-intermediate).
Logical thinking, planning, and eye for detail.
Supervision experience in waste or haulage operations.
