About The Role
As a Deputy Home Manager, you’ll ensure that the level of clinical care we offer goes beyond professional standards and statutory, regulatory, and legal requirements. You’ll provide specialist nursing support and advice, take responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager’s absence, and supervise and coach colleagues to deliver a service that is unparalleled in its empathy for resident issues.
Responsibilities
* Provide specialist nursing support and advice.
* Manage resident care when the Home Manager is absent.
* Supervise and coach staff to maintain high standards of care.
* Maintain accurate and meaningful records.
* Recognise and report safeguarding concerns, including escalation where necessary.
About You
You have a valid NMC Pin and are familiar with National Standards and the NMC Code of Practice. You bring experience in person‑centred care planning within a care home, and you display a positive, compassionate attitude that builds rapport with residents and colleagues alike. Excellent time‑management, strong communication skills, and a natural capability to mentor and motivate staff are essential. Safeguarding knowledge and the ability to seek appropriate advice and report concerns are also required.
