I work with primary schools in the Wigan area, who are looking for people who want to make a positive impact in education. Working alongside our client schools, we will provide the successful Trainee Teaching Assistant with high quality training.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Trainee Teaching Assistant you will:
1. Recognised Counselling, Psychology, Mental Health or other childhood related programme or have a thorough understanding of child development through other experiences.
2. Be compassionate, understanding and caring.
3. Be able to build positive relationships with children and young people.
4. Be able to demonstrate at interview the reasons why you want to start a career in education, and explain your understanding of the role of a Teaching Assistant and the important part they play in the school community.
5. Be committed to completing the required training and participating in ongoing CPD.

Salary
£415 to £425 per week
Your role will be to assist the class teacher with recording and reporting on pupil progress and behaviour, and help ensure that children are making good progress in the classroom.
