We are looking to appoint a passionate and dedicated KS2 Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive primary school in Thurrock. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire pupils and help them achieve their full potential during their Key Stage 2 journey.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging and high-quality lessons that promote academic progress, confidence, and a positive attitude towards learning.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver creative and effective KS2 lessons in line with the national curriculum
2. Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
3. Assess, monitor, and support pupil progress to ensure strong outcomes
4. Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners
5. Promote positive behaviour, wellbeing, and high expectations
6. Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents/carers
7. Contribute to wider school life, enrichment activities, and school improvement initiatives
About You
We are seeking someone who:
8. Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
9. Has experience teaching within KS2 or a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum
10. Is enthusiastic, creative, and committed to pupil achievement
11. Demonstrates strong classroom management and communication skills
12. Is dedicated to supporting both academic and personal development
13. Works effectively as part of a team
