General Builder / Roofer

Hours: 40 hours per week

Days: Monday - Friday

Duration: Permanent

Duties:
\n
Undertake all forms of general building repairs and maintenance within the Planned Works team including:
Digging underground drainage, repairing collapsed pipework and installing soakaways.
Roofing and roof repairs, roof problem solving, assessing roof integrity and guttering repairs.
Re-pointing, minor rendering, tiling and cement works.
All types of fencing, posts, feather edge, chain link and panels.
Laying self-levelling compound, flooring and floor tiles
Repairing brickwork and blockwork.
Basic roofing repairs

Experience:
\n
Must have a minimum of NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) or time proven experience within a relevant trade,
Must have previous general building experience including working within occupied and empty premises and the ability to demonstrate good customer service skills.
Must have sound knowledge of health and safety best practice.
Must be able to work well as part of a team as well as on own initiative, to instructions and schedules.
Must have a full driver's license.
This role is subject to a DBS clearance.

Salary: £29,610 - £33,075 plus £335 tool allowance, per annum plus flexible benefits and generous pension scheme.
