Job Details The Russell Martin Foundation are looking to appoint a full time Centre Manager for our ‘Extra Time Project’ centre based in Worthing. The Extra Time Project works alongside mainstream secondary schools across the City in supporting pupils struggling to maintain their behaviours in school. This can be due to a range of reasons from Social, Emotional and Mental Health to home circumstances. To be successful in this role you will: Need to be confident and well organised. Have previous experience of working in an alternative provision setting, managing negative behaviours in children and young adults. Be passionate about improving educational experiences for our pupils. Have previous experience of running a department or centre as well as lead their team of staff. Be proactive, positive and solution focused demonstrating a passion for young people and have empathy for pupils. Deliver subjects to support the curriculum and will be supported by the Core Subject Lead. Manage safeguarding relating to the cohort with the support of the Safeguarding Team.
