What the role would include:
Bookkeeping, bank statements, ledger reconciliations
Assisting in the initial preparation of tax returns, VAT & management accounts
General financial administration on behalf of the clients
Development of processes and procedures to accommodate business changes
Introduction of cloud tools
Learning new software as it becomes available
Working as part of the bookkeeping & management team
Visits to client’s offices
The ideal candidate:
The desire to always produce work of the highest quality on a timely basis
Knowledge of VAT, Self-Assessment and Corporate Tax
Knowledge/experience of cloud tools (e.g. Receipt Bank)
Strong communication and team working skills
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise
Have the confidence to speak to clients face to face
Flexibility regarding working location
Professional competence
A working knowledge of Xero would be an advantage
