Weekend Workshop Assistant - Gillingham
£12.77 per hour
Saturday & Sunday 12 hour shifts
We're looking for a Weekend Workshop Assistant to join a busy and friendly manufacturing team in Gillingham.
This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who's confident using hand tools, can follow assembly instructions, and enjoys practical work.
What You'll Be Doing:
· Working with hand tools to measure, drill, cut, and assemble materials
· Following written and verbal instructions to complete assembly tasks
· Supporting the team to keep the workshop running smoothly and safely
· Using workshop equipment to produce high-quality work
· Checking your work meets quality and safety standards
What We're Looking For:
· Some experience in a workshop or similar environment
· Confident using hand tools
· Able to read and follow basic assembly instructions or drawings
· Good attention to detail
· A team player with a strong work ethic
· Reliable, punctual, and honest
