SITE TECHNICIAN

As our company grows and develops, we are ever expanding our teams. We have a great opportunity for a dedicated Site Technician to join our Infrastructure Division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride.
We are looking for a motivated, dependable and committed Site Technician to join our team. As a member of Structures & Pavements, you will be exposed to a range of unique projects across the country. It is key that you are able to work efficiently as part of a team, as well as having the capabilities to work independently. Due to the nature of the jobs you will undertake, there is a strong possibility of working away from home, therefore high levels of flexibility are essential.
The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):
* To undertake intrusive and non-intrusive investigations to Structures and Highways projects
* Assist with structural investigations on buildings, bridges, car parks
* Assist with pavement investigations including coring, trial pits and DCP’s
* Liaison with clients
* Effective communication with internal and external subcontractors
* Assist with equipment calibration and maintenance
* Maintain company profile at all times
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:

* Results focused individual. Prepared to work additional hours and be able to work under pressure at times when required to meet client deadlines.

* Accuracy of testing and associated administration and attention to detail
* Adherence to all HSE requirements taking personal responsibility for your safety and the safety of others at all times
* Adherence to all quality control procedures
About Structures & Pavements –
Our Structures & Pavements team perform an extensive range of testing, investigation and condition surveys across a wide range of UK Infrastructure assets including highways, rail, airfields, ports and harbours, power stations, sports stadia in addition to building investigations across Industrial, Commercial and Residential properties.
