Go-Secure Solutions Ltd specialise in the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of security systems, data infrastructure, audio systems, and access control. They are proud to provide industry-leading training and ongoing support to help our team members thrive. They are now looking for a brand new apprentice to join the team
Day to day duties:
* Assisting senior engineers with installing, maintaining, and repairing fire and security systems.
* Gaining hands-on experience with industry-standard tools and equipment.
* Learning to read and interpret technical diagrams and system specifications.
* Supporting the team on site while developing key technical and professional skills.

Entry requirements
Desired skills and qualities:
* Due to the nature of the role, a driver's license is required
* 18+ due to worksite restrictions
* Hands-on experience with tools: Whether it's a part-time job, school projects, or personal work, some familiarity with tools is a must.
* Eagerness to learn: A passion for learning and growing in a technical trade.
* Teamwork skills: Ability to listen, take direction, and contribute effectively as part of a team.
* Problem-solving attitude: Someone who can think on their feet and is open to challenges.
Training to be provided
Fire Emergency Security Systems Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard.
Skills for Security will deliver the apprenticeship training in block release at centre. You will attend centre one week every eight weeks.
You will be required to complete all training tasks allocated during your block release weeks at the training centre and gather any site evidence needed to supplement your studies.
You will be required to complete an annual assessment at the training centre and take part in any additional training courses that the company require you to complete.
On Site Training:
You will shadow and be mentored by a full time engineer and develop proficiency in installing, configuring and maintaining fire and security systems.
