Overview
Lead the IT department, setting strategy and managing day-to-day operations.
Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and security controls in line with regulations.
Oversee installation, maintenance, and upgrades of networks, servers, and systems.
Manage IT budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships.
Implement cybersecurity measures to protect data and infrastructure.
Monitor system performance and recommend improvements.
Develop and test business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
Lead and support the IT team’s development and performance.
Provide technical guidance to staff across the organisation.
Ensure compliance with GDPR and data protection requirements.
Responsibilities

Qualifications
Essential:
* Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
* Minimum 3–5 years of experience in an IT management or senior IT leadership role.
* Demonstrable experience managing infrastructure, networks, cybersecurity, and IT operations.
* Strong technical knowledge across Windows Server, networking, cloud services, backup, and endpoint security.
* Experience developing and managing IT budgets, policies, and compliance frameworks.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Proven ability to deliver technological solutions aligned to business objectives.
Desirable:
* Relevant professional certifications (CompTIA including hardware and networking).
* Experience with cloud platforms (Azure) and virtualization technologies.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £36,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
