College Services Manager Reference Number: JR247787 Location: Nottingham Trent International College Working Pattern: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week Contract Type: Permanent Number of roles: 1 Salary: £35,000 per annum We are looking for a College Services Manager to join our team. You will work with the Head of College Services to ensure the smooth, effective running and development of the College’s student support services integrating, where appropriate, with academic learning services within the College. You may have specific oversight on quality and rigour of our academic administration, student induction and registration, welfare and safeguarding, accommodation & arrivals, advising students on visa requirements, liaising with Sponsors, and managing social events and a range of other student related areas and activities. What you’ll bring to the role A sound understanding of wellbeing support in UK further and/or higher education. Understanding of and experience in student administration, student support and/or student welfare issues and systems. Strong interest and experience of working with international students. A good knowledge of UKVI and Student Route Visa regulations. A proven track record in leading, developing or delivering initiatives with a strong customer service focus. Strong team leadership skills as demonstrated by a proven track record in this area. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate issues to a wide audience. An ability to prioritise effectively, be flexible and manage under pressure is essential. Good project management and strong organizational skills. The ability to respond positively to change and to be effective in changing situations. Excellent IT skills are critical and experience of database management is desirable.
