Job Description
A rare opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Pastry Chef to join our team, working alongside the Executive Pastry Chef to lead the Pastry & Afternoon Tea team.
Responsibilities include:
* Ensuring the smooth operation of the Pastry Department, maintaining standards at Fairmont St Andrews.
* Supervising and coordinating training for pastry staff with the Executive Pastry Chef.
* Motivating staff.
* Preparing daily food according to business needs.
* Writing and checking standard recipes to ensure proper portion control, taste, and quality for approval.
Qualifications
* Experience in a similar role is essential; experience in a five-star hotel is preferred.
* Must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
