Dakota Hotel based in Eurocentral are seeking a
hard-working individual suitable for a cleaning-based role for the position of Part
Time Kitchen Porter. Working part-time, predominantly Friday and
Saturday nights, this role is ideal for students and those with weekday
commitments.
Dakota Hotel based in Eurocentral by Motherwell is
located just off the M8 motorway in Maxim Business Park at the Eurocentral
Junction, we are a 92-bedroom boutique hotel which boasts a destination Bar
& Grill restaurant as well as a newly built wedding events space.
Our location is easily accessible by car and we offer complimentary parking for
both employees and guests. Additionally, there are frequent buses using the
CityLink 900 route, only 20 minutes from Buchanan St Bus Station directly to
our hotel.
CONTRACT AND PAYRATE
Earnings are £12.60 per
hour, paid weekly.
The role carries a permanent
contract of a minimum of 18 hours per week based on the needs of the applicant,
working any 3 days out of 7.

ABOUT DAKOTA HOTELS

PRIMARY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
* Wash all pots, pans, crockery, glassware,
and cutlery throughout the day.
* Store and organize all clean items,
ensuring the Chefs have all required equipment.
* Carry out a clean down of the Employee
Break Room daily and a deep clean of the Kitchen twice daily.
* Ensure the Back of House areas are clear
from obstruction and maintain the bin store areas, ensuring they are clean
and cleared daily.
* Follow the correct waste disposal and
recycling procedures, maintaining the waste storage area within the hotel.
* Follow health and safety procedures
closely at all times particularly pertaining to the handling of waste and
manual handling.
* Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of
safe chemical handling guidelines and best practice relating to the
immaculate upkeep of food preparation areas.
APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS
The successful applicant will
have/be:
* Hard-working individual who is able to
work at pace.
* A reliable and dependable individual who
is able to work well alone.
* Previous training in health and safety or
chemical handling is beneficial but not required as this training will be
provided upon starting.
* Have a minimum of 1 year working experience in a cleaning or cooking
role is beneficial but not required.
* Be able to be physically active in your role, standing for much of your
shift and working at pace.
* An enthusiastic individual who will promote our culture of positivity.
* Be task oriented with a great pride for the work they do and attention
to detail.
* Flexible with shift patterns and available around the needs of our
business.
* Successful candidates must demonstrate having researched our brand and a
genuine desire to be part of our team.
