About the Role:
As a Planner, you will work within a stable and profitable contract, delivering excellent service and support through our local teams who understand the importance of working together for the community. This contract covers Redbridge council within the social housing sector.
You will be responsible for administrative duties, WIP management, handling calls and emails, raising repairs, planning works, ensuring operatives have a full diary of jobs daily, liaising with operatives and subcontractors, and coordinating follow-on work as needed.
Day-to-day duties:
* Support scheduling of operative and subcontractor resources to ensure effective resource management and delivery of a customer-focused repairs service, meeting performance targets.
* Operate IT systems effectively, ensuring operatives use and update their PDAs correctly and input rate codes accurately.
* Monitor and update repair jobs regularly, including jobs booked within target times, cancellations, overdue jobs, and follow-on tasks.
* Maintain a professional manner in all communications with service users, clients, and stakeholders, ensuring high standards of appearance, ID, and Health & Safety.
* Act as a key contact between residents and maintenance workers, facilitating ongoing work and liaising with colleagues for accurate and timely information.
* Collaborate with team members, including administrators, operatives, supervisors, and subcontractors, to deliver efficient and productive services, ensuring high satisfaction levels.
* Follow policies, procedures, and work instructions, maintain company assets, report damages, and provide backup support for other planners. Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
