Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer (Electrical Bias)
Location: Norfolk
Shift Patterns: Choose between 3's & 2's or 4 on 4 off
Salary is £50,000-£55,000 with overtime opportunities and excellent benefits
Are you an electrically biased, multi-skilled engineer looking for a hands-on role where you can make a real impact in a fast-paced manufacturing environment?
This is a great opportunity to join a well-established food production site, supporting production by maintaining, repairing and improving a wide range of equipment. You'll be part of a close-knit team where your work directly contributes to uptime, performance, and product quality.
Key Responsibilities
* Respond quickly and effectively to equipment breakdowns
* Carry out planned maintenance and ensure all machinery runs safely and efficiently
* Diagnose and fix faults, particularly on PLC-controlled systems
* Work collaboratively with production teams to resolve issues and support smooth operations
* Take a proactive approach to minimising downtime and identifying continuous improvement opportunities
* Support engineering projects and ongoing site improvements
What We're Looking For
* Strong electrical engineering skills with relevant mechanical experience
* Previous experience in a food manufacturing or FMCG environment
* Recognised qualifications in both electrical and mechanical engineering
* Comfortable working with boilers and knowledgeable in health and safety standards
* Confident in fault finding and diagnostics, particularly with PLC's
* A flexible, self-motivated team player with a hands-on approach
* Willing to work overtime to support holidays and absence cover
* Keen to develop your skills and grow within the role
