We are seeking a skilled maintenance professional to join our Technical Services mobile team on a Major Retail contract with opportunities to support other Commercial and Residential contracts within our expanding division.

Working Details
Working Days: Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00
Location: Bristol area (as part of a mobile technical services team with potential to support other contracts)
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure all delegated Reactive Works orders and PPMs are completed within contract-defined time SLAs & KPIs.
* Contribute to overall efficiency, effectiveness and contract profitability; participate in the delivery of service.
* Support the delivery of all contracted services safely, on time, within budget and to required quality standards.
* On-call cover on average 1 in 8 weeks.
* Plan, inspect and carry out repairs or preventative maintenance; respond to breakdowns promptly.
* Carrying out building fabric repairs, small plumbing, joinery.
* Assist the maintenance team with other facilities work; provide quotations for recommended works.
* Ensure a safe system of work is followed prior to any activity.
* Maintain high standards on sites and provide general handyman services including L8.
* Coordinate with subcontractors, cleaners and security to ensure effective facilities management.
* Provide a callout response for the client as detailed on the rota (average 1 in 4 weeks).
Essential Hiring Criteria
* Time-served Fabric engineer with a maintenance background.
* Experience in Carpentry, Painting/Decorating, Door Hanging, Carpet/Lino repairs, Glazing repairs, Masonry repairs, Locksmithing, Tiling, and ceiling grids/tiles.
* L8 ACOP and Legionella Awareness.
* CSCS Skills card or equivalent qualification; First Aid.
* Current, valid driving licence; IT-literate (basic Excel & Microsoft products).
* Able to train and gain category 4 FGAS certification.
