Offer description

Based in our Sheffield office 3 days per week with 2 days working from home. You will also be required to travel to our London or Lincoln office on occasions (which is paid for by us of course)

Start Date - Ideally Tuesday 14th April (flexible depending on notice)

Candidates who reach the final stage will be invited to attend an in-person assessment day at our London office. Travel expenses will be covered. Assessment days will take place on Wednesday 18th March.

Our mission:

* Two in five people in the UK rent their homes. Our mission? To provide them with the best renting experience in the world

* We started Goodlord because we wanted to make renting simple and transparent for everyone involved: the agent, the landlord, and the tenant. We knew Generation Rent would lead to more tenants, with higher digital expectations and we were confident we could provide a solution

* Like all scale-ups it's been a bit of a rollercoaster journey, but we're now stronger than ever, with around 3,000 letting agents using the platform, exciting and varied products and 320 Goodlordians across the group supporting the mission

The Opportunity:

* Provide clear direction, guidance, and support to a team of 8-12 Referencing members, fostering a positive and highly productive work environment.

* Take full ownership of your team's daily performance and output, proactively identifying and addressing any blockers or challenges.

* Performance management, quality assurance and continuous improvement to ensure all team members are performing as well as processes are fit for purpose.

What we need from you:

* A natural leader with a proven ability to motivate, inspire, and develop others - you must have experience of managing a team of 8+ people

* Ability to be an independent thinker who isn't afraid to challenge the status quo

* Understand the value of in-person collaboration and can be adaptable and resilient with all stakeholders.

* Embrace the full spectrum of leading a performance-driven team – celebrating the highs and proactively navigating the lows
