We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join our team to work with our partnership schools throughout the Derby area. The successful candidate will support teachers in delivering high-quality education and provide assistance to students to help them achieve their full potential. Benefits: * Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications * Weekly Pay * Pension Key Responsibilities * Assist the classroom teacher in planning and delivering lessons. * Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need additional help * Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment * Prepare and organize teaching materials and resources. * Support students with special educational needs (SEND) and adapt learning activities as required. * Supervise students during break times, field trips, and other school activities. * Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all students. Qualifications and Skills * Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work effectively as part of a team. * Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children. * Basic knowledge of child development and educational practices. Minimum requirement * Registration interview * Must have 2 years worth of references * Hold an Enhanced DBS or be willing to apply
