IT Procurement Category Manager Leeds – 3 days a week onsite £65k - £85k excellent benefits We’re on the hunt for an experienced IT Category Manager to join a high-performing procurement team driving real impact. You will be joining an established and growing IT Category Management team and you’ll be responsible for managing and implementing the Procurement strategy, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, increasing efficiency, and reducing costs across a large and complex organisation. You will play a key part in supporting the company’s strategic objectives through innovative sourcing and procurement, robust supplier management, and strong stakeholder engagement. Key Responsibilities: • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather, assess, and challenge business requirements. • Coordinate the delivery of processes and initiatives, establishing best-in-class policies, processes, or services. • Develop and implement the Category Strategy with the support of global colleagues. • Manage Procurement processes, policies, and procedures (e.g., RFP, RFI). • Negotiate and implement contracts for IT Categories. • Understand budget approaches with Finance and business budget owners. • Utilise procurement tools and best practices to increase efficiency and quality, contributing to procurement savings and KPI objectives. What You'll Bring: • Recent experience in supporting IT procurement initiatives, including software, hardware, infrastructure, data. • Experience supporting a broader range of indirect categories. • A team player focused on ensuring the success and respect of the procurement team across different functions. • CIPS qualifications would be desirable • An understanding of FCA / PRA regulations To apply for this opportunity please send your CV asap
