Operating in a collaborative SME environment, thepany works with specialist agencies for areas such as PPC, Amazon advertising, and web development, while retainingmercial ownership and strategic direction in‑house. Your new role
As DTC & Marketplace Manager, you’ll own and develop the performance of thepany’s DTC merce site and Amazon Seller account, with responsibility for revenue, profitability and efficiency.
Reporting into the Head of Marketing and working closely with senior stakeholders, this is a role that blends execution and optimisation withmercial thinking. While broader strategy is shaped collaboratively, you’ll be expected to deliver the plan day‑to‑day, rolling up your sleeves to manage trading activity, promotions and performance.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Owning DTC trading performance, including pricing, promotions, CRO initiatives and trading calendars
2. Managing the DTC merce channel (Shopify), including set‑up and execution of promotions and on‑site activity
3. Overseeing paid acquisition through agencies, primarily PPC, while managing performance, budgets and oues
4. Managing the Amazon Seller account, including promotions, pricing, stock coordination and listing optimisation
5. Holding Amazon and PPC agencies to account against performance metrics such as ROAS, MER and sales growth
6. Working cross‑functionally with marketing, operations and external partners to ensure smooth execution
7. Using data and reporting to identify opportunities, optimise activity and improvemercial results
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the detail, equallyfortable setting up promotions and analysing performance as they are managing agencies and stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
8. 3–5 years’ experience in merce, marketplaces or performance‑focused digital roles
9. Proven experience managing a DTC merce channel, ideally Shopify
10. Strongmercial mindset with experience influencing or owning revenue and profitability
11. Hands‑on experience working with paid media (Google Ads, Amazon Ads), even if execution is agency‑led
12. Confidence managing and challenging external agencies to deliver results
13. Analytical approach with the ability to turn data into clear, practical actions
