You will work with some of the most complex and interesting clients in the market, supporting founder-led businesses as they scale, restructure, and protect wealth. Our corporate clients typically range from £1m–£30m turnover, and our private clients typically have £3m–£100m net worth. As a Senior Tax Consultant, you will: Lead complex tax engagements end-to-end Act as a trusted advisor to high-profile entrepreneurs Take ownership of client relationships, technical direction, and advisory outcomes Mentor and elevate junior consultants Contribute directly to the evolution of our advisory offerings This is a role for tax professionals ready to step out of the corporate machine and into a position with real authority, judgement-led work, and a clear pathway to Director-level responsibility. Key responsibilities: Lead the delivery of complex corporate and private tax advisory engagements, taking responsibility for technical direction, quality, and outcomes Act as the primary advisor for a portfolio of high-profile clients and entrepreneurs Own client relationships, managing discussions, strategy, and implementation with confidence Provide technical leadership on structuring, planning, and advisory projects, including international considerations Review and challenge advisory work produced by junior team members, ensuring high standards and commercial relevance Mentor and support the development of Tax Consultants within the team Work closely with senior advisors and the Founder on complex cases, new advisory ideas, and strategic initiatives Represent the firm at internal and external events, leveraging the Founder’s reach and profile to build professional networks Contribute ideas, challenge thinking, and help shape the firm’s advisory approach, service offerings, and internal processes Skills and attributes: Strong technical capability across corporate and private client tax, with the confidence to operate in judgement-led scenarios Ability to lead client conversations and advise entrepreneurs directly Commercially aware, with the ability to translate legislation into practical, real-world advice Comfortable taking ownership of complex workstreams and decisions Experience reviewing work and supporting the development of more junior team members Up-to-date knowledge of developments across the UK and international tax landscape Experience and qualifications: ACA / CA / ACCA / CTA (or equivalent) Significant experience in corporate and private client tax advisory Strong client-facing experience, including leading advisory discussions International tax exposure (UAE experience advantageous) Proven ability to interpret and apply new and existing tax legislation in complex scenarios Personal qualities: Confident, credible communicator with strong written and verbal skills You consider yourself a high performer and hold yourself to high personal and professional standards Strategic and commercially minded, with an interest in how businesses operate A collaborative team player who actively contributes to discussions, decisions, and firm-wide progress Deeply client-focused, with a genuine care for outcomes and long-term relationships Highly committed to continuous self-development and raising your own standards over time What We Offer A highly competitive remuneration package designed to recognise both individual contribution and collective team success.
