Due to ongoing business growth, particularly in the area of specialist cleans, we are advertising for an enthusiastic individual to join our team.
Specialist cleaning often involves working within challenging environments with vulnerable customers, including people with hoarding tendencies and people returning to their homes from long term hospital stays.
We are receiving an increasing number of referrals from Social Work, and the NHS, and are fast becoming a trusted organisation to undertake this type of work.
Communication skills, in particular listening skills, are essential for this work; working within someone’s home environment calls for patience and a sensitive approach to every task.
It is also pertinent to work in partnership with the customer, while undertaking tasks such as large-scale de-cluttering, and handling and removing of various waste products. Whilst this work can be somewhat demanding, it is very rewarding, and yields huge benefits to the customer’s health, well-being and everyday life.
** This type of work is not for everyone and we are therefore happy to provide fully paid ‘taster’ shifts to allow interested candidates to have a trial run before committing to the role.
