We have an opportunity for a Senior Test Manager to join the Quality Engineering Centre of Excellence. The team operates across multiple sites, working on various roles, projects, and platforms.
The role requires candidates with broad insights into the products and systems used in our Aviva business, especially with deep knowledge in Customer Data and Analytics change. The successful candidate will work with stakeholders to influence and improve current processes.
About the job:
1. This position involves working as a Senior Test Manager within the Quality Engineering team, responsible for delivering projects and supporting transformation & innovation activities in collaboration with other teams.
2. The quality engineering team is undergoing a transformation, and we seek a leader to advocate for quality engineering principles.
3. The role includes representing QE to senior business stakeholders, collaborating across IT disciplines, and understanding the impact of changes on users and customers.
4. Mentoring team members, coaching, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement are key responsibilities.
Skills and experience:
1. Proven expertise in SDLC methodologies with a track record of implementing QE metrics that enhance efficiency, automation, and quality.
2. Experience in stakeholder engagement, governance, establishing QE standards, best practices, and tooling strategies.
3. Technical proficiency in SQL, with knowledge of Python and data analysis techniques.
4. Familiarity with MDM systems, data warehousing, and cloud environments, with experience in functional and non-functional testing.
5. Understanding of risk, issue, and interdependency management within QE frameworks.
