Job Description
3. Handle daily banking transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
4. Reconcile client and office accounts in compliance with regulations.
5. Manage the processing of payments, including BACS and cheque transactions.
6. Ensure compliance with Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Accounts Rules.
7. Monitor and report on cash flow to support business operations.
8. Assist in month-end and year-end financial reporting activities.
9. Maintain accurate financial records and resolve discrepancies promptly.
10. Provide support to the wider accounting and finance department as needed.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Legal Cashier should have:
11. Previous experience in a legal cashiering or similar finance role.
12. Strong understanding of the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Accounts Rules.
13. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
14. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
15. A proactive approach to problem-solving and improving processes.
16. A professional attitude and ability to work effectively in a team.
