Our client is a long standing, established engineering business who are experts in their field. They are currently looking for a toolmaker/Miller to join their current team to ensure all tools are kept in good working order to enable production to meet its requirements and to ensure all modifications or repairs are completed in a timely fashion. Main Duties and Responsibilities The position will involve the manufacture, modification, repair and refurbishment of all types of tooling, To be considered for the position you must have 'hands on’ experience in at least, CNC milling or fitting & also experience in any of the following: * To be conversant with cnc milling or fitting, * Turning, spark eroding. wire eroding advantageous * Training will be available to learn other skills if required * Manufacture new tools to detailed drawings * To repair and maintain mould tools. * To be able to successfully modify tools to drawing. * Modifications to existing tools * Day to day service and repair of existing tools - Support of production tooling The Person The successful candidate will have the following skills and experienc...
