Fancy a new challenge? We are looking for an experienced care professional to be our next Care Team Leader. Lifeways are looking for a Care Team Leader to work alongside our Service Manager in the leadership and day-to-day management of our established service. Responsibilities
* Lead and motivate a team of support workers to deliver excellent person-centred care and support, enabling people to live fulfilling and independent lives.
* Involve in recruitment and ongoing development of support workers, including staff supervisions, candidate interviews, and providing guidance and expertise.
* Communicate effectively with staff, the people we support, and outside professionals; maintain good written communication and IT records.
* Ensure delivery of high-quality care, including awareness of the needs of people with learning difficulties, autism, challenging behaviours and mobility issues; manual handling may be required.
* Drive the company vehicle as required (must hold a full UK Driving Licence).
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience as a Care Team Leader or Senior Support Worker preferred; holding an NVQ / QCF in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) is advantageous.
* Dedicated Care Assistant or Carer with a solid track record and commitment to progression will be considered with appropriate training and development.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and good IT skills for record keeping.

For this role we require staff who are able and willing to drive our company cars, therefore you must hold a full UK Driving Licence.
