Lead EUC Engineer Location: Burton (Hybrid - 2/3 days on site) Salary: £48,000 - £55,000 benefits Employment Type: Permanent Reporting to: Directorship / close alignment with Infrastructure About the Role I'm looking for a Lead EUC Engineer to take ownership of our end‑user computing environment and drive our modern workplace strategy forward. This isn't a basic "build engineer" role - we're looking for someone who can design, configure, secure and lead from day one. This is the first senior EUC position in the team, giving you the influence, autonomy, and freedom to shape how we operate. You'll act as the technical authority between Infrastructure, Network and Service Delivery, helping the business move towards a secure, modern, passwordless future. What You'll Be Doing Lead our EUC engineering function as the senior 3rd‑line escalation point Design and configure Intune / Endpoint Manager policies, profiles, compliance rules and Autopilot flows Implement enterprise‑grade identity and access standards across Entra ID (Azure AD) Build and optimise modern laptop configurations, aligned to CIS benchmarks and security best practice Lead the shift towards conditional access, MFA improvements, and passwordless authentication Manage and improve our mixed device estate: Windows devices Small Mac fleet (around 12 devices) Large Android estate (800-900 devices; Samsung Knox experience ideal) Support incident response activities from a 3rd‑line engineering perspective Collaborate closely with Infrastructure, Network and Security teams to improve EUC standards across the business Work with 1st and 2nd line teams, providing guidance, leadership and technical expertise What We're Looking For Essential Skills Strong experience with Intune / Endpoint Manager Deep understanding of Entra ID / Azure AD, including: Conditional Access MFA Passwordless Identity standards Hands‑on experience building secure Windows devices to CIS or similar hardening standards Group Policy & ADFS knowledge Strong 3rd‑line troubleshooting & incident response capability Ability to design and explain laptop builds, standards and configurations Experience with Android management (Samsung Knox or Android Enterprise) Nice to Have Exposure to Mac management (JAMF or similar) Experience bridging teams - Network, Server, EUC, Security Someone who's been the "go‑to" EUC person in previous roles About You You lead from the front and enjoy taking ownership You're collaborative and easy to work with You're passionate about modern EUC, identity and secure configuration You can communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical teams You enjoy improving environments, not just maintaining them Why Join?
