$5.00 Shift Differential for 2pm-10pm and $3.00 Shift Differential for overnight added to your base wage.

Duties And Responsibilities
As a Registered Nurse at GlenOaks, your duties will include but are not limited to:
* Resident Care Management: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care plans to ensure the health and well-being of residents.
* Health Monitoring: Monitor residents’ physical, emotional, and mental health by conducting assessments and reviewing vital signs, labs, and care progress.
* Administer Medications: Safely administer medications as prescribed, document medication administration, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
* Supervise Care Teams: Provide direction and oversight to nursing assistants and other healthcare team members to ensure residents receive the highest level of care.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including care plans, progress notes, assessments, and any changes in residents' health.
* Coordinate Care: Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate and update treatment plans as needed.
* Resident and Family Communication: Communicate effectively with residents and their families regarding care plans, progress, and any concerns.
* Patient Advocacy: Advocate for the needs and preferences of residents, ensuring that their rights are upheld in all aspects of their care.
* Emergency Response: Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies, following established procedures and providing necessary care.
* Compliance: Ensure that all nursing practices comply with state regulations, facility policies, and safety protocols.
* Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure that best practices are consistently followed.
Education And Certification Requirements
* Registered Nurse (RN): Must hold a valid RN license through the Minnesota Board of Nursing.
* CPR and First Aid Certification: Required (or must be obtained within a designated time frame after hire).
* Bachelor’s Degree: A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred, but not required.
* Continuing Education (CEUs): Must complete continuing education requirements as mandated by the state of Minnesota for license renewal.
Physical Requirements
* Ability to lift, move, and assist residents (up to 50 lbs) with mobility and activities of daily living.
* Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and sit for extended periods during shifts.
* Ability to respond to emergency situations quickly and effectively.
* Ability to perform medical procedures that may involve physical exertion.
* Must have the stamina to work in a healthcare setting for extended shifts.
* Ability to handle exposure to bodily fluids, infectious diseases, and potentially hazardous materials.
* Ability to work in an environment with exposure to noise, cleaning products, and other stimuli.
