Nursery Practitioner (Level 3) | £27,500 – £30,500 | 41 hours per week
Our client, a thriving and inclusive nursery setting, is looking for a passionate and qualified Nursery Practitioner to join their dedicated early years team. This is an exciting opportunity for a caring and proactive individual to help shape the development and wellbeing of young children in a nurturing, stimulating, and supportive environment.
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality early years education and care. Working closely with children, you’ll create engaging learning experiences that promote curiosity, confidence, and creativity. You'll work collaboratively with a warm and welcoming team, contributing to a positive, inclusive nursery culture where every child can thrive.
What We’re Looking For
* Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (e.g. NVQ, CACHE, or equivalent).
* Previous experience in a nursery, preschool, or early years childcare setting.
* Excellent understanding of the EYFS and child development stages.
* A compassionate, child-centred approach with strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Confident knowledge of safeguarding procedures and commitment to promoting a safe environment.
* A genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential, regardless of background or ability.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver inspiring, age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
* Provide high standards of care and education, supporting each child’s emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
* Observe and assess children’s progress, maintaining accurate and meaningful learning journals and records.
* Foster strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
* Support children with additional or special educational needs (SEN), ensuring an inclusive learning environment for all.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and secure setting, upholding all safeguarding, health & safety, and hygiene practices.
* Contribute to curriculum planning and team meetings, sharing ideas and feedback.
* Engage in training and continuous professional development to support your growth and confidence in the role.
