We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to join our clinical team, providing a confidential point of contact for patients. This role primarily involves acting as a chaperone for patients undergoing ultrasound scans. You will assist with patient preparation, support the sonographer during the ultrasound procedure, and maintain a clean and safe environment within the clinical setting.
The position requires flexibility, attention to detail, a strong commitment to patient care and confidentiality. The role supports the delivery of an efficient and effective Ultrasound Service in a community medical setting. Our services include None Obstetric Ultrasounds across Cheshire, Merseyside, and West Yorkshire. There is an expectation to travel to designated clinical sites, including transportation of medical equipment, for which mileage will be paid.
Main duties of the job
To maintain and operate Kleyn Healthcare's ultrasound machines and computer systems, along with other IT communication systems, which are critical to service delivery. The initial contract is zero hours, with the potential to work up to 16 hours per week, with overtime available.
Our services are available Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 18:00, across all sites. The contract will be flexible to cover all clinical areas each week (not every day and not weekends). Weekly rotas are provided one month in advance.

We are a modern and progressive diagnostic service seeking to employ a HCA with excellent communication, IT, and interpersonal skills. The position is initially zero contract (subject to review), up to 16 hours per week, in a clinical environment that may require overtime based on service demands. The role is based in Warrington, Merseyside, and West Huddersfield, working across sites to deliver our services. The successful candidate will be required to work Monday to Friday.
Own car is essential for this role. Occasional office-based work may also be included.
Job responsibilities
Work as part of a team to provide a confidential point of contact for patients, both via telephone and in person, supporting the delivery of an efficient ultrasound service in a primary care setting. Transport equipment to and from sites across Bolton, Warrington, and Huddersfield. Operate Kleyn Ultrasound Service computer system, telephone system, photocopier, and other communication systems vital to service delivery. Promote a helpful, courteous, and positive image of Kleyn Ultrasound Service at all times.
