Overview
VRS (Vehicle Restraint Systems) Fencer role at UDP – Location: Sheffield/Penistone. Responsibilities
* Install permanent, temporary, or parapet vehicle restraint systems to industry standards.
* Read site plans and set out lines and levels.
* Handle and secure fencing materials and components.
* Operate hand and power tools safely.
* Assist with groundwork and foundation preparation.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements
* CSCS card (preferred).
* Right to work in the UK (unsponsored).
* Hold a full UK driving licence (6 points or fewer).
* Flexible to work days, nights, and weekends when required.
* Able to pass a drug and alcohol test and a safety-critical medical (physical job).
* Reliable with a positive, can‑do attitude and good teamwork skills.

* Experience in construction or similar hands-on roles.
* Some knowledge of VRS.
