Job Description
3. Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on historical data and market trends.
4. 18 month demand plans for the international channel, utilising both statistical and manual forecasting.
5. Collaborate with the Procurement & Supply Chain teams to optimise inventory levels.
6. Monitor and analyse sales performance to adjust forecasts as needed.
7. Identify potential risks in the supply chain and propose mitigation strategies.
8. Work closely with stakeholders to ensure smooth product availability.
9. Prepare and present reports on demand planning and inventory performance.
10. Support the implementation of planning tools and process improvements.
11. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Demand Planner should have:
12. +5 years' experience in demand planning and forecasting within the FMCG industry.
13. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
14. Proficiency in using demand planning software and Excel.
15. Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
16. A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
