Role Overview
You will take a key position within the Vertical Transportation division, with a strong emphasis on site-based engineering activities while also contributing to design, reporting, and client-facing technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as a primary technical contact, responding to client requirements and providing expert advice.
* Oversee site progress for VT installations across major project portfolios.
* Lead and carry out testing, commissioning, and validation activities.
* Conduct surveys and produce detailed reports on lifts, escalators, and moving walk equipment.
* Produce specifications, technical documents, and performance assessments.
* Lead smaller-scale projects and support large-scale schemes (£200m+ construction values).
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and design teams.
About You
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Industry-recognised qualifications (minimum NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering).
* Strong practical understanding of lifts, escalators, and moving walk systems.
* Proficiency in IT systems and engineering reporting tools.
* Excellent knowledge of VT codes, standards, and compliance requirements.
* Ability to manage time, coordinate workloads, and lead project tasks.
* Confident communicator with the ability to liaise with architects, developers, facilities teams, and stakeholders.
* A proactive, collaborative mindset with a willingness to support team success.
* Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
