The Role: As a Tax Senior, you will be responsible for overseeing a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering both personal and corporate tax compliance, as well as high-quality advisory services. You will also support our portfolio management team and play a key role in staff mentoring and client development. Key Responsibilities: Compliance: Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, sole traders, and limited companies Ensure compliance with all HMRC deadlines and legislation Maintain accurate and up-to-date client tax records Advisory: Provide proactive tax planning and advisory services to clients Advise on business transactions, restructuring, and tax-efficient structuring Identify opportunities for tax savings and process improvement Serve as the main tax contact for a portfolio of clients General: Work closely with colleagues across departments to deliver joined-up client services Support and mentor junior team members Contribute to business development, including networking and generating new leads Continuously improve internal tax processes and service delivery What We’re Looking For: ACA / ACCA / CTA qualified (or equivalent); ATT and QBE candidates will also be considered Minimum 4 years of experience in a tax-focused role within practice Experience in either corporate tax, personal tax, or mixed tax Sound understanding of UK tax legislation and HMRC compliance Proven track record of delivering tax advice to owner-managed businesses Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Ability to manage deadlines, clients, and team members efficiently High attention to detail and a strong sense of professional integrity What We Offer: Competitive salary based on experience Company pension scheme Health insurance and other employee benefits Company car scheme Opportunities for professional growth and promotion Supportive and friendly working culture Flexible working arrangements (hybrid options available)
