Description Salary £ 25,185 - £25,989 per annum |37 hours per week | Permanent, Full time | FM County Buildings - North | Lancashire Facilities Management manage a wide-ranging portfolio of properties across Lancashire to provide safe and positive working environments for our staff and customers. The post holder will work as part of the Facilities Management Operations and Support team under the direction of the Operations Mobile Support Team Leader undertaking a range of facilities and accommodation support tasks. Operatives will travel across a portfolio of properties completing a range of compliance inspections and defined tasks. Key responsibilities include: Undertake and record regular compliance checks and inspections. Undertake some general repair, cleaning and grounds work (including winter gritting) as required. Plan and organise own workload and assist with the coordination of the work of contractors and other teams. Positively support members of the public and LCC occupying staff across sites to provide assistance and to respond to emergency support if required. Monitor contractor works across all sites. Complete any tasks deemed necessary in line with the grade profile. A vehicle will be provided to undertake these tasks, although use of your own vehicle may occasionally be required to travel to sites. Mileage at the current rate will be paid for such journeys. What we're looking for: Experience of working in facilities or a similar role. An ability to manage own time and tasks while working to weekly deadlines. Practical maintenance skills. Able to build relationships with LCC staff and service users.
