Retrofit Manager (Architectural) - Leading Energy Charity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an aspiring Retrofit Professional with a background in architecture or project management. Join a leading energy efficiency charity operating across Scotland in partnership with local government and housing associations. The organization provides advice and services for various housing energy efficiency upgrades.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and collaborate with an existing team of Retrofit professionals on planning applications.
2. Act as the senior lead within the team.
3. Conduct surveys and site works.
4. Serve as the point of contact for junior staff members.
5. Review planning applications and contracts submitted for approval.
6. Generate drawings using CAD or similar tools.
7. Communicate effectively with end users, contractors, and public bodies.
Requirements:
* High level of communication and professionalism.
* Strong negotiation and IT skills.
* Driving license, as site visits in Edinburgh and the central belt are required.
* Experience with CAD for creating, editing, and reviewing drawings.
This role involves both on-site and office work, with flexible and hybrid working options. The salary is £42,000 per annum, with benefits including pool cars or mileage expenses. The ideal candidate will have an architectural technical background or similar, with relevant CAD experience.
