What is the job role? This is a great opportunity to join our Business Partnering Team as an Accountant, supporting Children’s & Education Services. You’ll build strong relationships with service leads, acting as a trusted advisor to support effective financial planning and management. You’ll interpret financial data and present clear, concise insights to managers, enabling informed decision making. Alongside budgeting, forecasting and final accounts, you’ll find creative solutions to financial challenges and ensure all outputs meet professional standards. Your work will help ensure public money is used effectively to deliver strong outcomes for our communities. All candidates must have the Right to Work in the UK. If you have just become an accountant, this post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Standard DBS check.
