Radis Community Care has an opportunity for a Floating Support Worker for our Supported Living Services in the Huddersfield, Kirklees, and Calderdale areas.
About the role
Our Supported Living Service supports people with Learning Disabilities, both males and females, in their own homes, with daily living skills.
A full driving licence is required to support individuals with their daily activities.
The role may include manual handling, medication administration, personal care, food preparation, household tasks, supporting individuals to stay connected with family and friends, accessing the community, and attending appointments. We focus on supporting daily living skills and socialisation.
We recognize each person as an individual and provide a person-centred and tailored service to meet their needs. The role aims to promote the individual’s independence, choice, dignity, and respect by delivering high standards of support.
Shifts
Various shifts, including alternate weekends.

Qualifications and Experience
Ideally, the successful candidate will have a qualification in health and social care (not essential) or experience working in supported living settings and/or with individuals with Learning Disabilities.
