Athena Worksurface Fabrications specialise in the templating, fabrication, and installation of porcelain, quartz, and granite worktops for kitchens nationwide, working with both major retailers and high-end property developers.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a keen, ambitious Factory Operative to join our busy team at our new factory in Worcester.
Role Overview
This role is ideal for a highly organised, proactive, and forward-thinking individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll be part of a small but dynamic team where collaboration, attention to detail, and pride in your work are key.
While teamwork is essential, you'll also need to be confident working on your own initiative and supporting colleagues when required.
Key Responsibilities
* Operating machinery within the production line
* Machine minding and supporting other team members as required
* Monitoring the production process to ensure efficiency and high-quality output
* Carrying out basic quality control checks
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience in a factory or manufacturing environment is advantageous
* A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
* Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Ability to work well as part of a team and independently
