Carmichael UK is working with a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering a major highways project in Gloucestershire. We are seeking an experienced Agent or Project Manager with a structures background, ideally gained on large-scale projects. The Role You will be responsible for the successful planning and delivery of bridge and associated structural works on a complex, high-profile highways project. Working closely with the wider project team, you will ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities Manage the delivery of bridge and structural works through to completion Lead site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure safe and efficient delivery Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality, and environmental standards Oversee programme, cost control, and reporting Coordinate with designers, engineers, and stakeholders Support and drive a collaborative, high-performance site culture About You Proven experience as an Agent or Project Manager on highways infrastructure projects Strong background in bridge / structures construction Experience working for a Tier 1 main contractor Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills SMSTS, CSCS, and relevant engineering qualifications
