We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school team as soon as possible on an ongoing basis, working three days per week. Duties as SEND Teaching Assistant: Provide tailored 1:1 support to a student with additional learning needs. Assist the class teacher in implementing individual education plans (IEPs). Adapt learning activities and resources to meet the pupil’s specific needs. Promote positive behaviour, independence, and social interaction. Work collaboratively with teaching staff, parents, and external professionals to support progress and wellbeing. Ideal SEND Teaching Assistant: Hold relevant SEND qualifications or training. Have experience supporting pupils with special educational needs in a school setting. Demonstrate patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills as a SEND Teaching Assistant.
